Taylor Judkins is the President of G3 Concepts, a family-owned real estate investment, entitlement, and development company based in San Luis Obispo, California. His work spans residential, commercial, mixed-use, multifamily, and industrial development across San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Kern counties.

Background

Taylor Judkins grew up around the construction trades, observing his grandfather’s work on real job sites and absorbing how buildings actually come together long before any of it was theoretical. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and later completed graduate work in chemical engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

That technical training shapes how he approaches every project at G3: methodically, with a strong emphasis on cost discipline, schedule integrity, and the engineering realities behind construction. He is fluent in design and estimating tools used by his project teams, including Vectorworks and Softplan, and works directly alongside the contractors, designers, and consultants on each build.

What He Does

As President of G3 Concepts, Taylor leads project sourcing, entitlement, capital structuring, design coordination, and construction oversight for the firm’s development pipeline. G3 takes projects from raw land or underutilized buildings through full entitlement and into vertical construction — carrying each project from start to finish rather than handing it off mid-stream.

Taylor’s approach reflects the values G3 was built on: full integration, full integrity. He believes development is a long-horizon business and that the right way to build is to do it carefully, transparently, and with respect for the communities a project becomes part of.
